The Recommended Bitrate is 64Kbps with 44100Hz SampleRate,

In the Caster Control Panel, at the TOP Box, while the server is online you will see all of your radio server details.

How to enable/disable the chat module on my radio page ?
To enable/disable the chat module on your radio page go to
CP --> SETTINGS --> page modules --> chat system.
To apply the new settings press save settings, fill in the box and click save changes
why can't I see my chat log after a while?
The reason for this can be that the Chat logs Deleted every night at 12PM America/Chicago UTC/GMT -6 Timezone
How do i ban (block) listeners and delete messages from the chat?
To ban a listener from the chat open the control panel, go to dashboard page click live chat,
to delete any message and ban the user
just click on the B near the name of the sender.

Shout your listeners
What is the Shout your listeners option at the CP?
You can shout direct messages to your listeners; the messages will appear directly on your radio page.
Shouted messages will fade away short
time after they appear on the page.
How can I shout/send messages to my listeners?
To do so login to your CP and click Shout your listeners,
Write your message and click Shout IT

How to Enable/disable schedule system module on my radio page ?
To enable/disable the song dedication module on your radio page go to CP --> SETTINGS --> page modules --> schedule system
Turn it on or off.
To apply the new settings press save settings, fill in the box
and click save changes.
How to Add/remove an event in the schedule system module?
To add a new event go to the schedule page in the CP enter the date the time and the description,
fill in the text from the image and hit
the create event button.
To delete an event press the delete button in the delete column of the selected event or delete all events by clicking clear all.
Why some of my events on the schedule got deleted?
Outdated Schedules deleted every night unless they set to be Every day Event

How can I integrate my caster.fm radio with my facebook wall?
To integrate your account with facebook, go to the social tab in your control panel
Click facebook integration--> log in to your facebook account-->press allow (in the request permission window)
Go back to the social tab and enable the integration

To integrate your account with twitter, go to the social tab in your control panel

To add a logo to your radio page
Go to CP -->SETTINGS --> your radio graphics and chose the image from your computer.

How can I change my side logo image of my radio page?
To add your side image logo on the radio page
Go to CP-->SETTINGS--> your radio graphics and chose the file from your computer.

To edit the titles and the text that will appear on your radio page go to CP --> SETTINGS --> radio details.

Why do I need follow me and contact me links?
Those links will appear at the bottom of your radio page so that your listeners could follow you or contact you in those networks.
How can I setup my follow me and contact me links?
Go to CP --> SETTINGS --> follow me links.
Fill in the fields you desire. To apply the new settings press save settings, fill in the box and click save changes.
Private Broadcasts
What is a private broadcast?
You can make your radio private so that only the listeners that have the specified password can enter.
How can I make my broadcast private and protect it with password?
To make your broadcast private go to CP --> SETTINGS --> private broadcast
Select enable and choose the password that your listeners will use to enter the radio page.
To apply the new settings press save settings, fill in the box and click save changes.
Passwords and Account
What is my control panel password and how can I change it?
Control panel password is your personal password you shouldnt give it to anyone. It is the password to login the control panel. To change it,
go to CP and click on the key in the bottom of the page, then click Control Panel Password and you will be transferred to the password change page.
What is my broadcast password and how can I change it?
Broadcast password is the password that you use only to broadcast, with this password you connect to the radio server.
To change it, go to CP and
click on the key in the bottom of the page, then click "Broadcast Password" and you will be transferred to the password change page.
Broadcasts directory
What is a broadcasts directory and why is it good for you?
Broadcasts directory is the list of all radio stations that visible to all our visitors.
By adding your radio to this list, you will attract more
listeners to your radio, Share your radio with other broadcasters. Compete and make it to the top of the list.
How can I add my radio station to the broadcast directory?
To add your radio to the broadcast directory, do the following:
Go to CP --> SETTINGS --> Radio Details --> caster.fm Directory
And Select yes.
To apply the new settings press save settings, fill in the box and click save changes
Videos And Photos Integration
How can I import and share my photos from Picasa or Flickr on my radio page?
You can import your photos from Picasa or Flickr accounts and share them with your radio listeners. To do this, go to CP --> PHOTOS
Chose enable integration, select from where to import the photos (picasa or flickr). Fill in your username and the album id, fill the box and click submit.
How to get your picasa album ID?
Go to your PWA account and click on the album in question.
Click on the RSS link to the right.
You should get something like the following:
picasaweb.google.com/data/feed/base/user/PWAusername/albumid/1234567890123456789?alt=rss&kind=photo&hl=en_US
Notice the long string of digits; that is your Album ID.
How to get your flickr set ID?
Open the desired album in flickr, notice the url of your album
It should be something like this:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/your username/sets/72157626753783133/
the long number in the end of the address is your set id.
How can I import youtube videos to my radio page?
You can Share your YouTube videos directly in your radio page.
To do this, go to CP --> VIDEOS
Chose enable integration, Fill in your YouTube username, select which videos to import, your uploaded videos or your favorites.
Fill the box and click submit.

What is a podcaster?
Podcaster is a unique caster.fm feature that gives you the possibility to save your live broadcasts as a podcast (a file) and share them with your
listeners even if your radio station is off-air.

A podcast (or non-streamed webcast) is a series of digital media files (either audio or video) that are released episodically and often downloaded
through web syndication.
How can I enable/disable podcasts recordings on my radio page?
To enable/disable podcasts go to CP --> PODCASTS and click the enable/disable podcasts button.
How can I change the title of my podcasts?
To change the title of your podcasts go to CP --> PODCASTS and change the name of the desired podcast, when you finished click the update title button.
Why my podcast was not recorded or deleted?
Check if you enabled podcasts.
The podcaster feature is only available only to users with 100+ "I like" votes
Remember that only Broadcasts longer than 15 min and less than 60 minutes, being recorded. Number of Maximum Podcasts allowed for each Account is 3,
after reaching 3 Podcasts New Broadcasts will be recorded instead of the oldest Podcast.
